What appears to be an amazing example of modern web programming begs us to dive inside the trusty Inspector to determine how it works. Are the sounds and effects generated really being powered by JavaScript?

Well, according to Mashable, the secret sauce making this work comes from HTML5’s new Web Audio API. That is, of course, if you’re using Chrome. Otherwise, it reverts back to Flash.

Overall, it is yet another very cool example of the possibilities and capabilities at our programming fingertips.
